Hope Health is a Family Health Care practice dedicated to providing comprehensive primary health care for people of all ages. We integrate traditional medical practice with complementary and alternative medicines utilizing our own expertise as well as the expertise of other local providers. Hope Health's owners are two Family Nurse Practitioners, Brien Davis and Jennifer Bell. Hope Health's providers are Brien Davis, FNP and Meredith Bruskin, FNP. Jennifer Bell FNP is currently on leave.
Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) are registered nurses with Master's Degrees and clinical training in family practice. They are recognized throughout the country as integral members of the primary care provider group. FNPs are licensed to assess and treat acute and chronic health care problems, prescribe medications, and order and interpret diagnostic studies. In Maine and twelve other states, Nurse Practitioners may practice independently after two years supervision with an MD or an experienced Nurse Practitioner.
Family Nurse Practitioners can be your designated Primary Care Provider (PCP) and listed on your insurance card as your PCP.
