Philosophy
The Family Nurse Practitioners at Hope Health, seek to maximize health and well-being. They approach health care from many angles focusing primarily on prevention through diet, exercise and stress reduction. In addition to standard medical practice, their treatments may include herbal or homeopathic remedies, or they may refer you to local alternative practitioners. Brien Davis, FNP may utilize his expertise with Manual Therapy for painful joint and muscle conditions.
Primary care services:
- Physicals such as: sports, merchant marine, coast guard, DOT, college, camp and general full physicals
- Women’s health exams incuding pap smears and breast exams
- Management of acute and chronic health conditions
- Minor surgical procedures
- Immunizations
Manual Therapy:
Brien provides hands-on treatment for pain in the neck, back and extremities. The treatments include Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Muscle Energy and Strain-Counterstrain. Each of these gentle therapies are Osteopathic Manipulative therapies. Brien has over 500 hours of continuing education learning about these and other therapies to treat chronic pain.

- Phlebotomy
- Urinalysis
- EKG
- Rapid Strep and mononucleosis tests
- Urine Pregnancy tests
Insurance/Payment
We take the following insurances:
- Aetna
- Anthem
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Cigna
- Medicare - We do not take all secondary Medicare insurers nor do we take all of the Medicare HMO plans. Please check with our Office Manager.
- Mednet – which includes Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, United Health Care and others.
If you have other insurance, payment is expected at the time of service. We will provide you with a receipt that you can send to your insurance for reimbursement. If you do not have insurance, payment is expected at time of service.
